Notice of Public Hearing

The Boone County Board of Commissioners are convened as the Boone County Board of Equalization from June 9, 2025 through July 25, 2025.  Notice is hereby given that the Boone County Board of Equalization will hold their first public hearing at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, July 14, 2025 in the Boone County Courthouse in the Commissioners Room in Albion, Nebraska to review 2025 valuation protests filed and to hear testimony from these protestors.  In addition, the Board will hold public hearings on Monday, July 21, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. and if needed Friday, July 25, 2025 beginning at 9:00 A.M. to review 2025 valuation protests filed and to hear testimony from these protestors.  No action will be taken by the Boone County Board of Equalization at the July 14, 2025 hearing.  The Boone County Board of Equalization may take action on the 2025 valuation protests on either Monday July 21, 2025 or Friday, July 25, 2025.  Filed protests forms are on file in the Boone County Clerk’s Office.  Agenda is current and available in the Clerk’s Office.
