Notice of Public Hearing

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given, in compliance with the provisions of State statute 77-1632, that the Boone County Board of Commissioners will hold the Special Hearing to Set the Final Tax Request on September 21, 2026 in the Boone County Courthouse in the Commissioners Room in Albion, Nebraska for the purpose of hearing support, opposition, criticism, suggestions, or observations of taxpayers relating to setting the final tax request. Said Special Hearing will begin immediately upon adjournment of the preceding budget hearing, which will begin at 8:30 A.M. and continue until all attendee testimony has concluded. Agenda is current and available in the Clerk’s Office.

Notice of Public Meeting

Boone County Board of Commissioners will meet in the Boone County Courthouse in the Commissioners room in Albion, Nebraska on September 21, 2026. This meeting will commence immediately upon adjournment of the preceding budget and tax request hearings, which will begin at 8:30 A.M. on September 21, 2026, and continue until all attendee testimony has concluded. The agenda, continually kept current, is available for public inspection in the Boone County Clerk’s office.
