NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The Boone County Board of Commissioners are convened as the Boone County Board of Equalization from June 8, 2026 through July 29, 2026.  Notice is hereby given that the Boone County Board of Equalization will hold their first public hearing at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, July 13, 2026 in the Boone County Courthouse in the Commissioners Room in Albion, Nebraska to review 2026 valuation protests filed and to hear testimony from these protestors.  In addition, the Board will hold public hearings on Monday, July 20, 2026 at 10:00 A.M. and if needed Friday, July 24, 2026 beginning at 9:00 A.M. to review 2026 valuation protests filed and to hear testimony from these protestors.  No action will be taken by the Boone County Board of Equalization at the July 13, 2026 hearing.  The Boone County Board of Equalization may take action on the 2025 valuation protests on either Monday July 20, 2026 or Friday, July 24, 2026.  Filed protests forms are on file in the Boone County Clerk’s Office.  Agenda is current and available in the Clerk’s Office.
