County Clerk

The County Clerk’s office is responsible for fulfilling open records requests, issuing marriage licenses, issuing liquor licenses, payroll, accounts payable, voter registration, and conducting all county, state and federal elections.

Birth and death records are no longer filed at the County level. Records available at DHHS Vital Records.

The County Clerk no longer handles Motor Vehicle Titles; they may be obtained through the County Treasurer’s Office.

Military Discharges

In order to record a military discharge, you must obtain a Form DD 214. Military Discharge Records are filed in the County Clerk’s office. These records are not public information. An individual can only obtain his/her discharge information.
